The Lucha Libre is one of the most representative sports in the Mexican folklore, that, besides of being a subculture with millions of followers, it represents Mexico in the world. The Mexican Lucha Libre have passed all type of frontiers and its exponents also wrestled in Japan, United States, Spain, Germany, England and Puerto Rico, that made them a legend.

Its background is based on 1863, during the french intervention in Mexico, Enrique Ugartechea, the first Mexican wrestler, developed and invented Lucha Libre mexicana, based on Greco-Roman wrestling.

There is a great variety of Mexican wrestlers that are famous around the world: El Santo, Blue Demon, Huracán Ramírez, Dr. Wagner, Canek, Dos Caras, Perro Aguayo, Atlantis and many more.
